JFest’s yearly celebration with two fun and fiery segments opens with Yale Strom’s original cantata, Uncle Albert and Brother Franz, weaving together genres from classical to jazz to East European and performed by San Diego Pro Arte Voices, under Dr. Patrick Walders. Then Strom’s Hot Pstromi will explore the musical intersection of Jews and Roma of Eastern Europe. Yale is joined by Tripp Sprague, Fred Benedetti, Tyler Kreutel, Luke Little, and Elizabeth Schwart,z plus 7-string guitarist Vadim Koplakov. Virtuoso Kolpakov was featured as a musician and dancer with Madonna!
