The California Center of the Arts, Escondido Foundation and Tierra Caliente Academy of Arts present the first dance production depicting the history of Mexico through HER eyes: Soatsintle; Her Eyes, Her Story. Starting with Afro-Mexico, the forgotten women; the arrival of the Charleston in Mexico, the iconic deer dance, the struggle for life and liberty with the Mexican Revolution and life after the revolution. Special guest singer: LuMaya.
