Master sitarist Kartik Seshadri, head of UCSD Department of Music's Indian music program, performs classical Indian ragas selected for the mood of the season, day and audience.
Kartik Seshadri (1957 -) is a leading sitarist, composer and teacher. He was noted as a child prodigy in India. He began studying under Ravi Shankar in 1974. He is currently a professor at the University of California, San Diego where he heads the Indian Music Department.
