San Diego Border Dreamers Posada
San Diego Border Dreamers is hosting its first annual Posada. There will be food, drinks, music, raffles, piñatas, art auctions & more. Live performances by Aztec Dancers & Folclórico. First 40 kids get a free candy bag. As an organization that is created and run by DACA recipients and undocumented residents, we want to help bring some joy into the hearts of our community. This is a celebration of our community and of our resiliency in the face of continuous attacks by this administration. We want to give our community a space to come together and end the year in love and unity in spite of the hate and division that we have had to face for the last 2 years. We want all people to come celebrate and, more importantly, stand together as a collective community for the dignity, respect and rights of all people. Funds that are raised by the sale of merchandise will be used to finance members of SDBD going to Washington D.C to meet with congressional members to advocate for a Clean Dream Act.
