2:00 PM Stage: Spring Awakening Set in late 19th-century Germany, this musical tells the story of teenagers discovering the inner and outer tumult of teenage sexuality and the journey from adolescence to adulthood. Alternative rock is employed as part of the folk-infused rock score.

3:00 PM Music: Around the World The free Discovery Concert Series at the Rancho Bernardo Branch Library presents Around the World. The program features musicians from the City Heights Music School, Palomar/YPO Percussion Ensemble, and Mariachi Victoria de San Diego under the direction of Mario Eguia and Victoria Eicher. Performing on a variety of folk and classical instruments (including the guitarron, accordion, violin, and vihuela) musicians of all ages will guide the audience through an audible tour of musical genres! The Discovery series of concerts at the library serves to educate the public about various music forms and to expand the opportunity for local musicians to perform and provide insights to their music. There is no charge for this performance and all ages are welcome. The concert will be in the second floor community room at the library.
