ArtWalk 2010 Known fondly as the largest fine art festival in southern California, Mission Federal ArtWalk is a two-day event held from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on April 24 and 25, 2010 celebrating original works of art. In its 26th year, the fine arts festival has been counted upon by artists and art lovers alike, to bring together all facets of the arts in San Diego and promote the joy and investment in owning original artwork.
The fine art festival features more than 300 artists from all over the United States, as well as Mexico, who display their original art for exhibit and sale. What makes Mission Federal ArtWalk unique is the opportunity to engage directly with fine artists who are respected in their field. A wide array of mediums will be on display, including paintings, sculpture, glasswork, photography, music, dance and entertainment. There is also a special area for kids and families known as KidsWalk, which provides free and interactive creative arts activities including painting, performing arts, music and more.

Italian Classic Film! Sedotta e Abbandonata (Seduced and Abandoned, 1964), director Pietro Germi’s audacious follow-up to his earlier film, Divorce Italian Style. When his daughter (Stefania Sandrelli) is seduced by her sister's fiancé, Peppino (Aldo Puglisi), the enraged Don Vincenzo (Saro Urzi) sets out to salvage his family's honor.
This film is part of The San Diego Italian Film Festival's "Italian Classic" film series. Films in the series include: Il Generale della Rovere (1959), directed by Roberto Rossellini, Ermano Olmi’s Il Posto (The Job, 1961), Abbandonata (Seduced and Abandoned, 1964) and Federico Fellini’s Amarcord (1973). Each film in the series will have a special introduction by one of SDIFF’s film experts. The San Diego Italian Film Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing Italian culture through film with San Diego audiences. In Italian with English subtitles.
