11:00 AM 25th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival Media Arts Center San Diego presents the 25th annual San Diego Latino Film Festival. The festival will occupy five screens for eleven days and will present over 160 films from Latin America, the United States and Spain. There will be opening-night and closing-night parties with the 3rd Annual Sonido Latino Beer & Wine Festival, Q&A sessions with visiting filmmakers, and free student outreach screenings. Audiences will have the rare opportunity to meet filmmakers and actors from all over the world.

Admission/Cost: For films - $12.00 General, $10.00 Students and Seniors. Festival packs and passes available.

12:00 PM Book Signing: The Honorable Knight The Honorable Knight is the first book in the series: The Fellowship of the Ancient Covenant. In the year 1099 AD, four young adults—Ian, Jacques, Serena, and Desiree—enter into an ancient covenant to protect mankind from evil forces for a millennium. Ian leaves a hard scrabble farm in Eire to embark on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. In France, Ian meets Jacques, a wealthy young knight, and they join the First Crusade. They meet Serena, a blacksmith's daughter, and Desiree, a nurse serving at the Hospital of St. John in Jerusalem. In the present day Ian is a Navy Seal, Jacques a mercenary, Serena a Mossad agent, and Desiree is an agent for the Center for Disease Control. The four heroes stop a terrorist attack on the United States then shut down a laboratory developing deadly pathogens.

Funny and lovable, Bernie has made his way up the ladder by being a spineless Hollywood sellout.
