10:00 AM Talk: Current Political, Economic and Recovery Situation in Nepal Daniel J. Orth (M.A., Fletcher School, Tufts), a program officer for strategic peacebuilding at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice, will speak about the "Current Political, Economic, and Recovery Situation in Nepal".

Nepal continues its transition from a monarchy toward a representative constitutional government that accurately represents all of Nepal's diverse groups, while simultaneously working to recover from last April's devastating earthquake. His presentation will include the evolution of Nepal's constitution as a case study in the formation of a new democracy, an update on the earthquake recovery status, and observations on the transformative work and optimism of local NGOs and the youth with whom they work.

Enrico Oliveri is an important politician on the verge of a breakdown; unwilling to face the failure of his party, he vanishes. His assistant Andrea finds out that there is a twin brother, Giovanni, who has been in an institution. Andrea's plan to have Giovanni pose as Enrico takes a turn when the supposed "crazy" stand-in turns out to have bright ideas wildly embraced by the electorate.
