Back from Tomboctou

tomboctou

If you are looking for fun, unusual and beautiful high quality folk art and ethnic hand crafts from around the world, Back from Tomboctou is the place to go! For over 20 years, they have been serving the community offering unique imported gifts and home décor ideas and an array of cultural events and workshops that include traditional craft making and the discovery and appreciation of the rituals and festivities of the ancient cultures of the Americas. They are importers of folk arts and handicrafts from Latin America and other parts of the world and deal directly with local artisans in cottage industries and self-sufficient cooperatives. At their store you will find an incredible collection of artifacts that rage from the sublime to the ridiculous. A world of bright color, fantasy, meaning and traditions which you are not likely to find at the mall.

If you are looking for a hard to find item, they can place special orders since they have many contacts throughout Latin America.
